His dominance during each game and consistency on the pitch is not only helping the Detroit Tigers in the league, but it is placing him in a strong position for the CY Young Award this season.
Logan Gilbert is a Potential Threat
Logan Gilbert continues to prove his talents on the pitch. After earning a 6th place position in the CY Young voting in 2024, the 28-year-old pitcher is clearly eager to take home the award for the first time in his career this season.
As of June 2025, he has a 2.37 ERA and has secured 44 strikeouts within 30.1 innings across six starts.
The superb numbers place him in contention for the accolade this season, but he will need to continue to perform well for the Seattle Mariners to scoop the award out of Tarik Skubal and Garrett Chrochet’s hands this year.
