Who Are the Nominees for Duo of the Year?
Many of the biggest double acts in country music are up for Duo of the Year at the 60th ACM Awards.

Brothers Osborne Could be Tough to Beat
Brothers Osborne has enjoyed much success in the Duo of the Year category, as the band has won the award four times throughout the years.

Also, the band’s albums have received much critical acclaim over the years, and their recent guest appearances and live performances could help them secure many votes this year.
For the above reasons and more, BEO betting odds forecast that the Brothers Osborne has a 63.65% chance of winning the award at the 2025 ACM Awards.
Dan + Shay Has the Potential to Win
Last year’s recipient Dan + Shay is a favorite to accept the award for Duo of the Year. After all, they have won the accolade five times throughout their careers, picking up the title in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024.
The band has had another fantastic year, placing them in a strong position for the award, as they released their first festive album, It’s Officially Christmas: The Double Album, which peaked at number 14 on the Billboard US Top Country Album chart.
As a result, they performed many of its songs on various TV shows, including The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller.
Plus, they had a chance to perform for their many loyal fans on The Heartbreak on the Map Tour in 2024.
Due to their recent releases, nationwide tour, and live performances, they could be called onto the stage to collect Duo of the Year at the ACM Awards 2025.
The War and Treaty Could Surprise Fans
The War and Treaty made history in 2023 by becoming the first black duo to receive a nomination for Duo of the Year at the ACM Awards and has received nods every year since.
While the husband-and-wife group faces tough competition in the category, it has enjoyed a fantastic year that could result in them securing the prestigious award.
For instance, their brand-new country album Plus One received critical acclaim, and they performed at Kamala Harris’s campaign rally in November 2024.
With the group growing in popularity year after year, they could surprise music fans by delivering an acceptance speech for Duo of the Year.
